Twitter and Facebook Make Us Immoral?

What's your opinion?

According to a new study, Social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook can have a negative influence on people's moral values and can make them indifferent to human suffering. New findings raise concern about the emotional cost of heavy dependence on an extremely fast stream of news snippets obtained by means of TV, Internet or social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. "If things are happening too fast, you may not ever fully experience emotions about other people's psychological states and that would have implications for your morality," the scientists said.
Do you use Twitter or Facebook often? Do you think they change our moral value?

  1. I don't think Facebook changes my values. I use it sporadically and with specific purposes. Like any other tool, it can become dangerous if you let it run your life!
